Let this my tribute intended to show my gratitude, respect and admiration as we celebrate his 100th birthday anniversary.
He was not only the best and accomplished surgeon but also the best son, father, brother and mama and kaka. He touched the hearts of all who knew him, the family members and others by his generosity
and kindness. He was selfless and went above and beyond for all the patients he cared for.
He was my idol and mentor. He Always encouraged me through my high school years as well as medical school.and always rewarded me with lots of gifts for my achievements. One of my favourites, one was a
wristwatch i got in my 7th grade. Nobody else had a watch in my class in those days!!!
With all these, he was a lifesaver for my mom {Pushpaben}. She got very sick after the birth of my younger brother {Dhananjay}. She had an intractable and severe headache and a weird kind of meningitis.
Doctors in Vadodara and Ahmedabad could not diagnose and help her. He took my mom to Mumbai several times for consultations and also contacted doctors in London for advice. With his expertise and persistence, she got the best treatment and survived. We can never forget Motamama for what he has done for my mom.
There are only a few people in the world who can be considered saints and Virtuous; to me, he was one of them.
