Dr Jayant Haribhakti (Babu kaka), the name brings instant smile and feeling of compassion for others. We always remember for his ora of love and pious personality.
Fond memories with bubukaka bring back my childhood. The process of building a character in an adult starts from childhood. Babukaka recognised the talent of painting in myself and gave the identity of an artist in the entire family. Every visit at Haveli, he used to buy colours and brushes to nurture my hobby. I appreciated my work and build confidence that led to recognition. I was fortunate to get such early recognition and started building an attitude to excel in life as a child. His simple gestures, full of love and affection, made me wait for his visits to Vadodara. He shared an extraordinary bond with my parents Ushakant and Shushila. He was fond of Gujrati dishes cooked by my mother and stayed with us to give golden moments to chairs.
His showering of love and affection continued when we visit Ahmedabad during our vacations. No matter what, he would come and pick us up from Suvssphoi’s home, took us to the sports club, his home and made us eat what we like every time.
When I grew up and wondered how such a busy person could get time for kids and create a bond that is impossible to fade even after 30 years of his reaching to heaven, looking at his life and many lives he has touched that blossomed, he was a Parasmani of humanity.
I am privileged and proud to be his nephew and pray to god to send more saints on earth like him.
