In Narsih Mehta’s terms, Motamama was a practising Vaishnav, who Knew and understood the pains of others and tried to fix it. It did not matter whether it was a physical, medical, financial or family problem. Yes, he was a very extrovert person, pleasant, smiling and ready to help.
In my personal experience, Motamama was used to go out of his way to help me whenever I used to visit Ahmedabad. He will arrange a special cook to make Jalebi and we used to have dinner on that unique design dining table. And oh ya, discussions on politics when he was running for the election. He had a charismatic personality and knew how to act in a group or individually. In my mind, he could have written the book “How to win friends and influence people” himself. On this 100th birthday anniversary, we remember this great soul with pleasant memories and emotions. Jay Shree Krishna
